Unlocking Students’ Full Potential through Alignment

We have re-imagined the show to emphasize the transformative power of community, learning, and the dangers of isolation and fear. This is incredibly impactful for students who continue to struggle with attendance, overwhelm, anxiety, or other social and emotional challenges, whether due to the lockdowns or other factors.

Clever Princess helps Elsa overcome her anxiety and fear of her own abilities

Elsa: A Powerful Role Model for Overcoming Uncertainty and Fear

Alpha’s character of Elsa provides a compelling role model for making new choices after experiencing uncertainty, fear, and turmoil. Within the story, Elsa faces a panic attack, and we witness the consequences of her various choices. With help from the audience and the Clever Princess, who employs sophisticated and real-life psychological change techniques, Elsa learns to align with her true potential. Students are sure to find inspiration in her transformative character journey.

Anna with the ego-centric Prince Hans

Anna: Navigating the Path from Naivety to Empowerment

Anna’s journey illustrates the pitfalls of naive beliefs and fantasy, demonstrating how to make strong, self-loving, and certain decisions. She learns to maintain a joy for life without allowing others to manipulate or control her, offering students a powerful example of resilience and self-empowerment.

Kristian with his Reindeer mate, Bac

Kristian: A Strong Role Model for Expressing Emotions and Community Support

Kristian, a character in our Snow Queen production, showcases the importance of emotional strength and community support. As an organic farmer dedicated to helping his community, Kristian is deeply concerned about the eternal winter Elsa has triggered. His journey provides a powerful example for students, complementing the transformative paths of Elsa and Anna.

Kristian demonstrates that true strength comes from vulnerability and emotional expression. Despite his initial fear of showing his feelings, Kristian learns to open up and communicate honestly. His dedication to his community and his commitment to sustainable farming highlight the importance of taking responsibility and working together to overcome challenges.

Students will see in Kristian a role model who embodies:

  • Emotional Courage: Overcoming the fear of expressing emotions.

  • Community Spirit: Dedication to helping others and making a positive impact, even if it’s not always clear there’s ‘something in it for us’.

  • Environmental Stewardship: Commitment to sustainable practices and caring for the environment.

  • Resilience: Facing challenges head-on and finding solutions.

Kristian’s journey teaches students that it’s okay to express emotions and that doing so is a vital part of personal growth and community support. His character shows that true strength involves compassion, responsibility, and a willingness to embrace change for the betterment of all.

The Snow Queen tempts Elsa with a Great Mirror of Power, that limits ones perceptions to only reflect ‘locked down’ feelings of frozenness and isolation

A Theatrical Experience Like No Other in Australia

Plus, you’re providing a wonderful and impactful theatrical experience, equivalent to a trip to see a big Broadway show at a major theatre in the city. There is nothing else like this in Australia.

It’s also a hilarious, fun, and comedic adventure as we explore the concept of a ‘Snow Queen’ (who is a real physical character in our version) and the emotional impact on everyone. Students will learn how to let go of being ‘frozen’ and come back into alignment with Who We Really Are.
